1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FinWise ("Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2. Service Description

FinWise is a financial management tool that allows users to:

• Create and manage personal bank accounts
• Transfer funds between accounts and users
• Link external bank accounts via Plaid
• Track account balances and transactions

3. User Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• You must have a valid Google account for authentication
• You agree to provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Reporting unauthorized access immediately
• All decisions made regarding your accounts and transfers

5. Limitations and Disclaimers

DISCLAIMER: FinWise is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted service availability
• Freedom from errors or bugs
• Data loss prevention
• Specific financial outcomes

6. Plaid Integration Disclaimer

When linking bank accounts via Plaid:

• FinWise never receives your banking credentials
• Your bank login is handled directly by Plaid's secure servers
• See Plaid's Terms: https://plaid.com/legal
• We are not responsible for Plaid service interruptions

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Application for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or modify the Application
• Use the Application to commit fraud or financial crimes
• Harass, threaten, or defame other users
• Share account access with unauthorized persons
• Use the Application for commercial purposes without permission

8. Transaction Policies

• All transactions are final once submitted
• Bank deposits may take 1-2 business days to process
• User-to-user transfers are instant
• We reserve the right to reverse fraudulent transactions

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FinWise SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or opportunity
• Financial losses resulting from app usage
• Third-party service interruptions (including Plaid)

10. Intellectual Property

11. Modification of Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue FinWise at any time without notice. We will not be liable for any resulting inconvenience.

12. Termination

You may delete your account and uninstall the Application at any time. We may terminate access if you violate these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms
